Ability effects, prices and cooldowns
The first eight rows are the official names. Nine Lives, Shark Attack and Wind Shurikens appear in both guides but are absent from that official list. Effects and unlock costs below agree across the two guides unless a row says otherwise. These are guide reports, not developer statistics.
Timing is single-source: AllThingsHow supplies every numeric active time and cooldown below. TechWiser does not publish matching numeric timings. Values are shown as active time / cooldown in seconds.

Disagreements and limits
Hiss cooldown: AllThingsHow's tier guide lists 14 seconds, but its coins and combat guide lists 9 seconds. These are two pages from one publisher, not independent confirmation. Neither value is a settled cooldown.
Fluff Up effect: both October tier guides describe stronger outgoing knockback. The older Glint guide (October 18) instead describes resisting incoming knockback, citing fan-site observations. The sources conflict; the official description supplies no effect text to resolve this.
Ray Gun access: the bundle and Halloween reward are separate source reports, not proof of one current unlock route. Sportskeeda says rewards must be purchased in order, so 40 Candy is the Ray Gun step's cost, not the total pass cost. Neither tier guide ranks Ray Gun; its report does not establish an official total of twelve abilities.
Which ability should you choose?
For the two guides' shared S-tier choices, compare Nine Lives at 2,000 Coins with Hairball at 12,000 Coins: resurrection versus a slip hazard. Dash is the free movement option. Hiss is the cheaper anti-grab tool, while Shark Attack and Wind Shurikens require bundles in both guides.
