Is Cat Battles the same as The Battle Cats?
No. Cat Battles is a Roblox ring-out by Cute Malt Games that went live on 2026-10-05. The Battle Cats is a tower defense by PONOS from 2012. I compared the Roblox games API with the PONOS series page on 2026-10-27.
Is there a Steam or APK version?
A Steam store search for cat battles returned zero results on 2026-10-27. Google Play search did not list a separate Cat Battles app. Play it through the Roblox place page.
Is Cat Battles free?
The Roblox listing is a free experience with a 10-player cap. The genre fields I read were Battlegrounds and Fighting. I am not quoting a Robux price because the games API response I used did not list one.
How do I throw someone?
Right-click to grab, Shift to lift, walk to the rope, and release. The official description lists those keys. Glint and AllThingsHow add the edge step. Joaosorvete123's clip from 2026-10-17 shows the same release.
Why does a throw never happen?
The official controls distinguish Right Click to grab, Shift to lift, and F to kick. Glint and AllThingsHow teach moving a carried cat toward an edge. The official description does not specify a separate throw key or grab-distance number. Guides disagree about whether grabbing is a prerequisite for lifting.
What codes does the official text name?
The Roblox description names RELEASE, NEWGAME, and CATS, and only says they give free coins. IGN, Radio Times, and Pocket Tactics still listed four more codes in late October 2026. Amounts stay on the codes page with each source.
How many abilities are there?
The official description names eight: Dash, Pounce, Hiss, Anchor, Stomp, Catnip, Fluff Up, and Hairball. TechWiser and AllThingsHow listed eleven in late October 2026. I keep both counts.
When was the last update?
The games API for universe 10769543567 showed created 2026-10-05 and updated 2026-10-26 when I read it on 2026-10-27. That response does not include patch notes, so I do not invent them.
