Furs / Tier List
Cat Battles Roblox fur tier list
Galaxy and Glitch share the top tier in catbattles.com's estimated list. IGN instead labels Galaxy Legendary and Glitch Mythic, while also disagreeing on three other coats. Below is the complete ten-fur estimate, the four disagreements, and practical ways to choose a cosmetic. This is Cute Malt Games' Cat Battles on Roblox, a different game from The Battle Cats.
This guide covers Cat Battles, the Roblox ring-out game by Cute Malt Games. Looking for The Battle Cats by PONOS?

Estimated fur tiers: S through C
The tier letters below belong to catbattles.com's Fur Tier List, which says it estimates rarity from shop order. Glint's Furs and Gear guide repeats those labels and explicitly attributes them to catbattles.com. That is one ranking repeated by another site, not two independent rankings.
| Estimated tier | Furs in that tier | Independent label comparison |
|---|---|---|
| S / Legendary | Galaxy, Glitch | IGN: Galaxy Legendary; Glitch Mythic. |
| A / Epic | Gold, Crystal, Rainbow | IGN: Gold and Crystal Epic; Rainbow Legendary. |
| B / Rare | Tiger, Snow Leopard | IGN: Tiger Rare; Snow Leopard Epic. |
| C / Common | Ginger, Tuxedo, Calico | IGN: Ginger and Tuxedo Common; Calico Rare. |
All ten are named in the official Roblox description. The description adds "& more" and assigns no individual rarity grades. The order of its names does not establish a rarity ranking. This ten-name estimate also leaves out IGN's expanded egg and bundle catalog; it cannot rank the whole collection.
Where the two publishers disagree
IGN and catbattles.com agree on Common for Ginger and Tuxedo, Rare for Tiger, Epic for Gold and Crystal, and Legendary for Galaxy. Those six matching labels are useful reference points, but agreement does not turn an estimate into an official drop rate. The other four remain disputed:
| Fur | Fan estimate | IGN rarity | IGN inventory cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Calico | C / Common | Rare | 2,000 Coins |
| Snow Leopard | B / Rare | Epic | 5,000 Coins |
| Rainbow | A / Epic | Legendary | 12,000 Coins |
| Glitch | S / Legendary | Mythic | 25,000 Coins |
The clearest example is Rainbow: the fan estimate groups it with Gold and Crystal, but IGN groups it with Galaxy as Legendary. Snow Leopard likewise sits beside Tiger in the fan estimate and beside Gold and Crystal in IGN's Epic category. Combining the lists into one supposedly confirmed ranking would hide these differences.
Which fur should you choose?
- For winning fights: choose the appearance you enjoy. Glint and catbattles.com describe furs as cosmetic. Compare abilities for combat effects; an S label here is not a stronger punch or throw.
- For the top of the fan estimate: Galaxy and Glitch are the two candidates. Both sit in its S tier, while IGN distinguishes Glitch as Mythic. Neither source establishes which has lower crate odds, so there is no supported probability-based winner.
- For planning a coin purchase: use reported direct costs rather than a letter grade. IGN lists Ginger as default, Tuxedo at 750 Coins, Tiger at 2,000, Gold and Crystal at 5,000, Galaxy and Rainbow at 12,000, and Glitch at 25,000. These are single-source inventory prices, not expected crate spending or resale values.
- For collecting event looks: start with the expanded fur directory. IGN also lists Death Moth, Wendigo, Geode, Tentacat, Galaxy Emperor, and six bundle coats. The ten-fur S/A/B/C estimate says nothing about their relative rarity or current availability.
For a practical shortlist, compare Gold and Crystal if you want two coats with the same published Epic label and the same IGN-reported coin cost. Compare Galaxy and Rainbow if you are considering IGN's 12,000-Coin category, keeping Rainbow's disputed estimate in view. This is a choice by look and reported budget, not a claim about investment value.
Known furs beyond this ranking
The official ten-name directory lists Ginger, Tuxedo, Calico, Tiger, Snow Leopard, Gold, Crystal, Rainbow, Galaxy, and Glitch with each source's label. Our IGN-only extension supplies the remaining 26 names in IGN's 36-name catalog, with reported inventory, egg, or bundle routes. That gives collectors a lookup list even where a shared ranking is unavailable.
What rarity cannot tell you
The checked sources provide no official per-fur drop rates or supported trading prices. IGN's Hallow Egg table repeats percentages across individual coats in a way that exceeds 100% when read as a single distribution, so it is not a usable basis for expected pulls. A shop-order estimate, a coin purchase cost, and a representative Robux offer measure different things; none establishes a resale value.
Use codes for Coins and the coins and crates guide to plan a collection budget without assuming a guaranteed rare pull. The full fur guide keeps reported acquisition routes alongside their source labels.
